Sewer Services

Our sewer service process is designed to accurately diagnose problems,
restore proper flow, and prevent future issues. We use industry advanced
equipment for sewer lines ranging from small residential pipes to large
commercial and municipal systems.

Step 1 – Rodding

What is Rodding?
Rodding is a mechanical cleaning method used to break through blockages
in sewer and drain lines. It involves inserting flexible steel rods or a
powered cable into the pipe to dislodge obstructions such as grease
buildup, roots, debris, or hardened waste.

Why it’s important:

•       Quickly opens blocked lines
•       Restores basic flow
•       Often used as an initial step before inspection or jetting

Rodding is effective for clearing immediate blockages but does not fully
clean pipe walls, which is why further inspection and cleaning are
recommended.

Step 2 – CCTV Camera Inspection (2″ to 48″)

What is CCTV Camera Inspection?
CCTV sewer inspection uses a high-resolution, waterproof camera inserted
into the sewer line to visually inspect the interior of the pipe. The
camera transmits live video, allowing us to identify issues without
excavation.

What we look for:

•       Cracks, breaks, or collapsed pipes
•       Root intrusion
•       Grease and scale buildup
•       Offset joints or pipe misalignment
•       Foreign objects or structural damage

Pipe sizes inspected: 2-inch to 48-inch lines

Benefits:

•       Accurate diagnosis
•       Pinpoints exact problem locations
•       Saves time and avoids unnecessary digging
•       Provides documentation for maintenance planning or repairs

Step 3 – High-Pressure Water Jetting (2″ to 60″)

What is Jetting?
Jetting uses high-pressure water to thoroughly clean the inside of sewer
lines. Specialized nozzles blast water at controlled pressures to remove
grease, sludge, roots, sand, and scale from pipe walls.

Pipe sizes serviced: 2-inch to 60-inch lines

Why jetting is effective:

•       Completely cleans pipe interiors
•       Restores full pipe diameter and flow
•       Prevents recurring blockages
•       Ideal for both maintenance and problem resolution

Jetting is often performed after CCTV inspection to ensure targeted and
effective cleaning.

Optional Service – Robotic Sewer Line Cutting (Over Taps)

What is Robotic Sewer Line Cutting?
Robotic sewer cutting uses a remote-controlled robotic cutter equipped
with rotating blades to remove obstructions inside the sewer line—most
commonly roots, hardened debris, or concrete intrusions at service
connections (over taps).

When it’s used:

•       Severe root intrusion
•       Concrete or mortar entering the main line
•       Blockages that cannot be removed by rodding or jetting

Advantages:

•       Precise cutting without excavation
•       Safe for the existing pipe when properly applied
•       Ideal for municipal, commercial, and complex sewer systems
